This book tells the life story of a child whose journey began in Sağman Village, in the Pertek district of Tunceli. It is the story of a child who, while sleeping on the roof of his village home, would gaze at the moon in the night sky and dream that one day he would reach it.

It tells the story of a child who, despite having a disabled leg, worked as a shepherd for days to earn enough money for a pair of rubber shoes. It portrays his innocence, his loves, his heart, his experiences, his dreams, and his aspirations.

The book also explores the dark and difficult periods that Türkiye went through during those years, along with the hardships and pain experienced by ordinary people.

Most importantly, it tells the story of how that child journeyed from humble beginnings to where he eventually arrived, overcoming life’s challenges through determination, perseverance, and tears. It is a story of both sorrow and achievement.
